The Racquet Club Estates is one of Palm Spring's most historic, vibrant and authentic neighborhoods. The area is located less than 5 miles away from the Palm Springs International Airport (PSP). The neighborhood contains a school, park, and a fire station, giving guests a quiet and relaxing ambience.
Guest will have access to entire home and fenced backyard. The home has a carport and driveway large enough for three cars maximum. A 220 volt outlet is also included in the carport for charging electric vehicles like Tesla and other manufacturers.
The Electric Lady House is an original Alexander home in the desirable Racquet Club Estates. With the most coveted floor plan in the neighborhood, the main living area has soaring ceilings while all the bedrooms face away from the street. The flow of the home is perfect, with all rooms leading out to the beautiful outdoor space.
Enter the home through the peacefully wallpapered entryway, with a Crosley record player. You'll find original vinyl records from some of the best, including Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin, or for more modern taste, hook up your own music via Bluetooth. The closet in the entryway houses books, board games, and other items to enjoy during your stay.
The living room hosts a gorgeous Mario Bellini sofa, lounge chair, and gas fireplace and is meant to encourage time spent together. Mounted on the wall is a Nebula projector with all the Smart TV apps, perfect for a movie night once it gets dark. If you prefer to watch TV during the day, not to worry! Each bedroom has its own Smart TV with access to all your favorite apps.
Enjoy meals gathered around the table which comfortably seats 6 people. Feel free to open up the sliding doors and enjoy indoor/outdoor living.
Every Boutiq home is fully equipped and stocked chef's kitchen. For those who like to cook, the kitchen includes stainless steel appliances and a powerful gas range. We also have everything you need to make pour over coffee, with complimentary coffee beans from a local shop.
Both bathrooms boast beautiful walk-in showers and vanities with plenty of storage. The master bathroom has a door that leads directly to the pool. Each bathroom has Aesop hand and body wash, and custom Prose shampoo and conditioner.
Three spacious bedrooms all have access to the backyard, with beds covered in comfortable linens.

In the fully-fenced, private yard you’ll find plenty of places to relax. Around the pool are six lounge chairs, four lounge cushions on a cabana-style platform, a dining table for six under a pergola with string lights, two Acapulco chairs for morning coffee, a gas fire pit with seating for six, a bocce ball court, a gas grill, and an additional dining area off the kitchen. We also provide two bikes for riding around the neighborhood or to downtown.
Uber and Lyft are readily available in the Palm Springs area. The home is located approximately 10 minutes away from the PSP airport.
Make sure to fully read our house rules before booking with us. The city of Palm Springs requires hosts to send all guests a Good Neighbor Brochure and for guests to sign a short document agreeing to the Palm Springs Vacation Rental Rules and Regulations. We will send that via DocuSign. You will be sent these documents before your arrival.
Please keep these in mind when considering to book with us:
- No more than three cars can be at the property at any time
- Absolutely no outdoor music at any time, per city ordinance.
- Please observe the quiet hours of 10pm to 10am while outdoors.
- No smoking anywhere inside or outside the home.
- Collapse the umbrellas anytime they are not in use - you will be charged for any avoidable damage to the umbrellas.
- Be mindful of the couch - any damage will result in additional cleaning fees.
- Pool Heating is an additional $50 per day.
Violation of any house rules will result in a $1000 fine per infraction per day.
No smoking (includes vaping or e-cigarettes) allowed inside or outside the home.
Please don’t rearrange the furniture.
No candles or other open-flame sources. The fireplace may be used according to Guidebook rules.
We ask that you leave your shoes by the door.
Please respect check-in and check-out times.

New laws regarding noise have been put into effect which indicate “audible music at the property line” is subject to $500 fine for first violation and $1000 for second violation”. You, as renter will be responsible for these fines. Also, as part of the new laws, if we receive a call from local authorities and are requested by them to come to the property at any time, renter will be charged $100 and face possible immediate eviction.
All bookings are non-refundable. Cancellations will result in the lessee’s forfeiture of the full booking amount. Agent(s) cannot guarantee against mechanical failure of heating, air conditioning, pools, Hot Tubs, TVs, Satellite Receivers, or other appliances. Please report any inoperative equipment to Boutiq immediately. Agent will make every reasonable effort to have repairs done quickly and efficiently. No refunds or rent reductions will be made due to failure of appliances or equipment. No refunds for early departures (less days than reserved). No refunds will be given for delayed arrival. No refunds for reducing the number of nights reserved. Neither Owner nor Agent shall be liable for events beyond their control which may interfere with Guest(s) occupancy. Such events, occurrences, or causes include, without limitation, acts of God, pandemics, terrorist activities, government orders to prohibit travel to a location, homeowners association or other community association orders to prohibit travel to a location, weather, strikes, lockouts, riots, acts of war, earthquake, volcanic activity, ash clouds, tsunamis, hurricanes, fire, explosions, property damage, necessary repairs, insect or rodent infestation, amongst other events. NO REBATE OR REFUND will be offered in these circumstances.
